About the institution
The main goal of this institution is to return women who are at the moment jail detainees into active and productive members of society. The institution aims to avoid women who have been through this process to go back to committing crimes by making them realize of new possibilities for themselves and their families. Despite the lack of staff, government help and resources to keep the institution working, not to mention the poor infrastructure, the centre has managed to succeed in the rehabilitation of its inmates with very happy results.
Due to overpopulation because of its small space, the centre can’t accommodate children after they turn 1 year old, it’s really sad what these children and mothers go through, this is why they need help to overcome these obstacles the best way possible.
Description of the work
The volunteers are given to chance to work in many fields, but basically it involves education, recreation and specially rebuild or improve the relationship of the inmates with their families and/or other inmates. Other area is Social work to advise and encourage these women to become better, productive members of society. Even helping in the kitchen or arranging meetings or social activities would be a great help, in this place there is a lot to do, it all depends on your will to help and your initiative.

Although the schedule to work in this institution is very flexible, you have to commit to the work, it will depend on you to make a valuable experience out of this for you and the people in the institution.
Time: Minimum 2 weeks
